Just curious, did the previous owner divulge any of the issues that you are discovering on your Cruiser?

Some things I'm doing are preemptive strikes. No way to see the radiator rot without removing the condenser.

I was told that the a/c had never worked.

I never had a clue there was a problem. Maybe temp sender or gauge is faulty.
Here are some pics.

I got mine re-cored with 4 row one. It wasn't all that cheap but it is working well. I know of a couple people using the aluminum one with no complains (not sure if they got theirs from Cruiserparts though). Re-coring mine cost a little bit more than the cost of the aluminum one you listed :(

The shop has installed new aluminum radiators in a 47 and 60 Series and I'm fairly sure neither came from Cruiserparts.

I'm going with a re-core as the copper and brass can be repaired later if there is a problem, aluminum would be harder or impossible to repair if a problem arose.
It will cost a lot. I found a Toyota OEM at Adrad in Australia. The re-core will be a finished a bit faster.

I looked on the Toyota DIY EPC and I could not find the rubber cushions or bushings for the radiator mounts; anyone have info on if those are available?

Local wizard re-cored the radiator. Cost more than $400 however.

Positively, the guy's brother is an a/c genius and is helping me get the cruiser's aircon system restored.
Today he swapped the magnetic part of the 24V a/c clutch and reduced the "air gap" on it. He seemed to think this was important.

Had my BJ74 up on the hoist this week and noticed it is weeping around a crack in the bottom tank.

Will have to book into a radiator shop and see what they recommend. Hard finding a good shop that is willing to do custom stuff, rather than just remove and refit.

Definitely won't be touching cruiserparts.net though, they stuffed up a mate's order for parts for his cruiser and now want *him* to pay shipping to dispatch the parts they short-shipped. They're off my vendor list forever.

If you can see the crack I bet silver solder would patch it up.
