Hey. Are you or anyone you know interested in a roof top tent?

I have one, new in it's box never opened, that I'll let go for a good deal. It's a YAKIMA Skyrise in medium. We're a YAKIMA dealer and I figured we could sell these pretty well. We have sold a few of them, I have one left in stock and really just want to get it out of the way. We're tight on space and we really have no good way to advertise we sell them.

I have one myself pictured below (I've been happy with it) and would park the FJ60 out in front of the shop on weekends with the tent deployed as a means for advertising. Now we don't have space to store the Cruiser inside overnight so I'm no longer doing that. I'm getting out of the tent selling business.

It list for $1,499.00, I'll let it go for $1,100.00.

If you need crossbars or a rack to mount the tent to, I'll sell you what you'd need at a discount too.

How much does it weigh?
Would it work on a stock FJ Cruiser rack, they have an arch fore-to-aft.

Hey Bill. I'll check with Yakima about fitment to your factory rack; they have a list of factory racks that have been tested and approved.

They do fit and are approved for the FJ factory side rails, which is what you've described, I believe. Weighs 115#s.

So much want but Clemson tuition has its claws on my cash flow!

Well, at least it's going the right direction. Ours has been going to USC for three years now.....

Don't believe there's a right & wrong direction....have a niece & nephew at USC. Just hoping she graduates in 4 years....first change of major has taken place in only 6 months! You have a layaway program for that RTT? Hoping that a secret Santa comes & pays it off for me!!!!

Bill - @FrackMacker has one of these and loves it. He’ll be at the Meet & Greet if you need to take measurements. Weight isn’t bad. We throw it on and off his 100 pretty regularly. The material is like a good modern tent instead of a thick, heavy fabric like many RTTs.

yes I will be there and please come check it out - I’ll tell you everything I’ve learned about it including some preventive measuress, care, operation, pluses, minuses. The included base/mattress pad is surprisingly comfortable and definitely warmer than sleeping on the ground during colder times, but come see for yourself

Yakima didn’t recommend using my factory 100 bars but I use them anyways - hasn’t killed me yet lol - probably a marketing tactic
