I know this has been discussed before but I wanted to see if there any newer products out there.
we have a 2017 GX 460 and just bought a GF superlite rooftop tent that weighs 80 lbs.
I am looking for a basic roof rack system that will work for us that is budget minded.
We don't have a need for the ability to carry other things, hookup an awning or other bling, just the tent and 300 lbs. of adults.

Sherpaec.com sells the mount and the crossbar only. If you buy the scratch and dent bar it might cost less than $250 for whole system. That is by far the most cost effective solution.

Yale mounting feet, 3 cross bars in component section and maybe a smiley bracket in accessories section.

We installed the rhino rack 3 bar system with same intentions. Heavier duty, not too obtrusive, easy install, and fairly cost effective. I think we bought it from e-trailer.

For how light your RTT is, you should be able to get by with using cross bars on the factory GX rack rails.
You'll have to do a search but I believe there are a few vendors that make "flat" cross bars for the factory GX rails. You'll need the flat cross bars. That would be your cheapest option.
I'm sure some one on this forum will chime in with a product.

These are the ones I usually see mentioned when people want to retain the stock rails but have more options. Currently out of stock on their site though.
