Use the jbweld steel stick stuff to fill the holes. Smooth, prime and paint.
Also somewhere here it states that these trucks are ribbed for her pleasure; are you sure you want to remove them?

Just got it back from the bodyshop. So much better without that worthless rack.

Yeah, I thought about removing it, but I think I'll just leave it on. There's no rust underneath it and it doesn't really bother me.
Did this today after failed attempts w/o searching first. The paint is already shot on my Cruiser and it gets wrapped Monday, so I just needed the adhesive off.
Scraper - plastic or metal - NO
Turtle Wax sticker remover - Kinda, but NO
Acetone - NOPE
3M Adhesive Removal wheel as Delancy suggested - YES
My tape was on there solid, saw some people talking about using 3 wheels, so I bought 3 and used 1.
I could use the Turtle Wax cleaner now and get it 100% clean, but its good enough for the wrap installer to clean it up if needed.

Every time I read one of these stories about the battles removing the sticky tape I thank my lucky stars that the monkey moron that put my factory rack on FORGOT to take off the adhesive protection!! My ribs just lifted right off.
You guys find any rust under the ribs??
