I have a Wildness Full Size rack on mine. It has the spare tire mount, hi-lift jack and shovel mount. I ended up getting the wind deflector and it has made a huge reduction in sound. It is heavy, I can post some pics if you like…?

Pics please

I see a lot of y'all run the flat racks as opposed to the baskets. Any particular reason besides looks?

you should look into the GOBI roof racks for the 80 series..they are pretty cool looking

Lower height, so better clearance with garages, etc. Also a little less wind drag. And easier compatibility with RTT's, and an ultimately lower-height setup. Plus you're generally not going to rely on the basket to actually hold anything in, you've got straps for that. that's my experience. :)

I used DiamondRax and I'm very pleased. Good service and a very strong rack for my RTT.
I particularly like their 'triple dog' rain gutter supports. FWIW.

Thanks looks great! I didn't see an 80 version on their website.. did you order for an 80 or just get a universal type?

I think it is the full size that fits a Land Rover Discovery. I can get the measurements in the AM. I actually have the spare tire components but I use the IPOR bumper for that to help with roof clearance. The basket style has worked well w/ securing items we have transported on top. I had a flat style roof rack but didn't like it (just my preference).

I have a lightly used Gobi stealth rack (with sunroof insert) in Phoenix, AZ available for sale for an 80. Probably one of the most sturdy designs. Not great for RTTs though. Probably would be willing to drive it within a few hours of AZ if anyone wants to take a look at it.
