I have a new set of rockwarrior center caps I'm going to install on recently rejuvenated rockwarrior wheels. As we all know the center caps degrade and lose their vibrancy quickly. Has anyone added an additional clear coat, protective layer, anything that will help keep the center caps from dulling rapidly? These stupid caps are $$$ and getting harder to find each day. I want to prolong their life as much as possible.

Any tips or accounts of what worked much appreciated

Mine are a few years old and look new- but my cruiser stays in the garage so maybe the UV is what gets them, it’s not my daily.

I’m sure UV and weather are a big part - but most caps haven’t aged well. I’m looking for the best way to protect the new caps before installing.
