Rock rails for LX470 fitment (1 Viewer)

I'm planning to buy the rock rails from eBay, I checked with the seller if they work with factory AHC on my LX. Seller says they will work. However I'm still skeptical.

Anyone use these eBay rock rails? Are these recommended? Or are there better alternatives around the same price range?

I am not sure I would trust those mounting brackets to support much weight since they look to mount similar to the factory running boards.

If you check out the options from other vendors such as white knuckle offroad you can see what I mean. True sliders have beefy mounting points that connect directly to the frame rails.

those look pretty cool, but i am skeptical that those could hold the weight of the vehicle like a true rock slider can. they will certainly be much sturdier than the stock running boards

Thanks for the helpful responses, the mounting points on the body are definitely a deal breaker. I'll look for frame mounted sliders.
