This was preconfigured into the purchase price of my new rig.
My supervisor has the stuff on his black Lexus car, and he likes it.

It is professionally installed at a place right down from my dealer.
This places services all of the local dealerships.

It is a thin protective film that is applied to the leading edges of the doors, the door handle surrounding area, about a good foot or more up the hood, and also in front.
Also done were the amber lights up front, the miirors and their lamps on them, and of course the headlamps.

This protects the paint from rock chips pretty good.

Here are some pictures of the film.
Kind of hard to see in the sunlight when I took the pics.

Down side is I really wanted to spend Saturday washing, claying, and getting a good coat of Griot's Best Of Show wax on it, but I was told this stuff must cure for 6 days without being washed or waxed.

This will give me some time this weekend to plan out my CB installation, and maybe get the Slee Hi-Lift mounts mounted up to my roof rack.

Hey Corey, I will probably be installing my CB radio (I think we have the same model Cobra) tomorrow after I get my FJ so I'll post up if I do and try to get pictures up.

You have the monster 29?
I held it up to the roof, and it looks good up front.
Plenty of room, but I will be danged if I am going to pay Cartoys around $200 or more to install it and all of my wiring up there.

I held it up to the side of the console, but it sticks up to much.
I think I am going to settle for the front of the glovebox like I did on my 4Runner.
Plenty of room there.

I just bolted mine to the passenger arm rest bolt hole. That way no drilling.:D

How much would it cost to do the whole thing? :)

Is this the same stuff as here (http://www.shieldzone.com)? It was developed to protect military helicopter blades in harsh environments. I have this on my iPod and it's unbelieveable. I'd cover my whole vehicle with it. :D

Well I didn't get mine today after all. They are waiting on something for the security package to arrive in the morning, and then I go pick it up....... Let the mods begin :D

Yeah I have the model 29 Cobra as well :)

I bought a new 2' Wilson silverlode whip antenna to mount on the roof rack. I think later I will mount the antenna on an ARB bumper when I get that.

Have you seen my Bandi antenna mount?
Bandi is a member over on fjcruiserforums.com and he makes these cool mounts that goes on the back hinge.

That is how I mounted mine.
It is on my mods page.

How much did it cost you I know a guy who did it for $250 and he came to my house. If any one in the DFW area wants it I might be able to hook you up instead of the $695 at the dealership, it's the same film.
