So after last nights meeting and all this talk about going to Alberta...I asked the wife and she said...yah sure what the hell.
So..im seriously considering going. Of course..none of my cruisers would be even close to ready for such an adventurous trip...so its Taco time!
and hey..it came stock with BFG all terrains (as suggested tires for this event) and a factory locker..woohoo!

NOw, of course this can only happen if the limit of 60 participants hasnt been reached..time to email Mr. Lowenbrau methinks.

there is still room left, email either Bruce or Peter Straub at:
pstraub@shaw.ca
to confirm...
cheers

I thought about leaving on Wed. but the more I thought, the more I remembered I have little money, so I think I am going to leave Thursday morning (4:00) for anyone that wants to leave the same. I saw the forcast for most of BC, and it looks like sunny weather all week, so travel could be good.
Greg, if you don't finish getting one of your trucks ready for the trip and still want to go for a more relaxing weekend, let me know, and I got a spare seat if you need it.
Cheers,
Deny

the weather looks like it will be nice for the coming weekend.
make sure you go over the "need" list on the river shiver site. you might want to get an idea of which runs you are interested in doing. with the chinooks due to come in around tues to thurs we could have an interesting snow consitancy so if you have chains it might be a good idea to bring them along.
it seems we will have 32 trucks showing up which is excellent for the first ever TLCA event in Canada.
we will try and divide the group into 5 smaller groups, this will make the runs quicker with less standing around.

Deny...thanks for the offer! I think actually either truck would be good to go as of tomorrow! I've a few last minute items, and some meetings that crept into tomorrow, so I am looking at a Friday departure, and missing one day. Working on a co-pilot so the 12 hour trip goes quick!...

Hope to see you there.
