Just got my recent issue of Trails and looked for the sign up for the River Shiver in Feb. I was thinking of going, if I could swing the time off. It's not listed as an event???

Just incase the River shiver guys don't see this and don't respond, I will just note that I have heard they might be thinking of doing it every second year. If you don't hear from anyone on here, check out the RMLCA web site and maybe email their info person.
Cheers,
Deny

Deny. You are correct. There is no official River Shiver this year. I think the RMLCA will be wheeling the February 14-16 weekend, but not in the fully catered event as it has happened in the past. The committee that puts together the River Shiver has put it’s effort into the re-opening of trails in the area, to make future River Shivers better. The plan is to work hard on trails and land related issues in 2009 and have a bigger and better River Shiver in 2010. Feel free to go to our website and email the info person, as Deny stated or join our mailing list for ongoing updates.

Sounds like a good plan on trying to get some more trails open. If there is anything I can do (letter writing, helping with trail clean-up and maintenance) let me know.

Curtis.
