Not sure if you saw this, but here's another Amazon wih the same bumper.

He’s actually here in Houston as well, though never seen it in person. I don’t 100% like the way it looks on that AG, still contemplating having it coated, but haven’t looked into color matching yet. My hood is so beat up, I need to do that in tandem, that spirals into an entire front end respray, which leads to addressing all the trail rash, next thing I know I’m repainting the entire vehicle….

Yeah, I agree with the prep needed. Were the quotes from a powder coating shop, or a body shop using paint? I find powder coat chips off just as much as paint, at least my limited experience with roof racks and bumpers that are powder coated.
They were from a PC shop. I assumed a body shop would be more but hadn’t checked.

The PC on my sliders has held up pretty well. Even the scuffs from some rocks didn’t rust it until I really hit them hard a few times. But my front bumper PC flaked in a few spots, and then dragging it across some rocks didn’t help, and once the PC breaks it’ll rust quickly

Most of the exposed bumper portion of the Rival bumper is aluminium. It’s not going to rust.

The frame / winch tray is steel, if that PC cracks it could rust. However this part of the bumper won’t see much abuse as it is covered by the aluminium shell.

I'm not worried about rust, just that I've noticed that powdercoat is only marginally better than paint at resisting chipping. At least, in my limited experience.

The deal is really good on these. They look good and appear decently designed (steel cradle for winch).

But, oh, the gap between the body and the half-assed way to mount that rubber trim sucks. It looks like crap in all pictures. Did someone find a rubber strip that stays/looks better?

Lack of a piece that closes the gap between the bumper and aftermarket skids is another issue, but something could be fabricated there so not a deal breaker.

Just ordered one today...total cost was well, too cheap to pass up. They've discontinued the offerings for the 200

Indeed. Decided to order one and worry about things later. Buy now, think later, that is.

Quick question, does it ship as a one piece, i.e. winch mount is packaged inside the bumper shell? My bumper came, but I won't be back home for two weeks, wanted to make sure I got the whole thing.

I think it's 'inside'. Here are the pallet and 'just unwrapped' photos I took.

Thanks! Looks like yours was better wrapped. I hope mine was not banged up too much:
