U can try to imirse it In the liquid form , poured out of a gallon metal can WD-40

Use a metal old coffee can with a lid or verified plastic that can hold that WD-40


Make dam dam sure to poke a tiny pencil point top hole in the cap !!

Just like a Land Cruiser 1962 - 1972 gas cap
Has

Allows for 2 way venting

Put the container outside under cover and go to it And shake it like a new spray paint can

It will penitrate via the bump contact tip area and Thu the black disc and it’s outside diameter were the aluminum body is crimped over the lip

It’s NOT a waterproof not a weather resistant design in any way

After 2-3 days good soaking ?

hold in palm of hand and make like a stress rubber fig-it ball …

Click the Sh#t out of it !!

Then re soak another day

Repeat like 3-4 days

And you have a good chance is revives it self !!!!


When it does ?

Shake it hard to empty out all the liquid crap , it will be black and funky for sure !

Then use a Blow dart and compressor air and work that all

Its purpose was to slide over the D-Groove shaft on any OEM Toyota choke cable that style , you crank dork the set screw and it bites the old D-groove shaft …

There must have been a TSB bulletin or campaign recall that surely would have mentioned a detent or recess of some kind for that special pre-loaded set unusually large JIS p3 Philips to bite on and hold on ???

I have never seen a removable Toyota choke knob , minus a FJ60 one ?

- so the koolness factor limitless possibilities or possible goodness here is wide open turf to skunk-worx into !

- next up is the purely Pure period correct reproduction of the final rendition of a exterior Land Cruiser DIESEL fuel caution decal they made
