Anyone know a good R&P shop in or around Atlanta? Going to put 4.88's in. I'm pulling the 3rd's myself, just need a shop to set em up for a decent price.

bump... anyone?

You may want to post up in the Upstate Cruiser section or in the GA club section. I have heard good things about Atlanta Custom Creations from others in the Upstate club. They are listed under the advertising vendors section.

I would try calling "Urban Landcruisers" they are in Atlanta and specialize in landcruisers because they are landcruiser fanatics. If they don't do it, I am sure they know who does or could.

Welcome to Urban Land Cruisers LLC!

I used them to do the front axle service on my 80 and they did a great job. David Dearborn is the owner. I think they do great work but you need a little patience as they are difficult to contact at times. I think the guys at Custom Creations used to work there. I have never used either for ring and pinion gears so I can't give you a recommendation in that regard.

What's the scoop with ULC?

Speaking of which, has anyone heard back from ULC lately? I've been trying to contact them since the beginning of August and haven't heard a peep...

Bart62,
Check out Atlanta Custom Creation. Not saying anything bad about ULC, but ACC will answer their phone.

Thanks Sid, will keep that in mind.

The rub is I've got an '89 FJ62 over there that's supposed to be coming back with a 12HT diesel and H55 tranny this month (!) :frown: Hoping something will pop here soon and will appreciate any info re: ULC... Hopefully David's just extending a well-deserved summer vacation.
