Any CSC using Rigid Industries LED lights? Im looking to purchase but Im not liking the published light color/kelvin of the lamp. I dont want blue color and want to look at some light to make me comfortable prior to purchase. Post up if you have some Rigid LEDs I can see at night.

I got a set of the small ones

Phil, Rigid doesn't divulge the kelvin temp of their lights. I have no idea what temp they are.

Baja Designs uses 5k for their LED lineup. pure bright usable white light.

If you have interest in BD, give me a call or send a PM.

I'm very happy with my BD lights, I know Don is as well. ;)

I've installed a couple 40" rigid bars on rzr's and a 20" bar, and a pair of duellys on a ultra4 race buggy. I don't have pics, but they don't look blue. Pretty bright. I also installed a 20" amber bar on the buggy, works well in dust. The buggy will be in KOH this year.

A few of the guys working at rigid left my company to go there. I speak with them from time to time. Good stuff, but pricey.

I've also installed some knock offs, not a really noticeable difference from rigid. But watch out for warranty stuff on the knock offs.

Rigid has the best warranty out there.... I sent back a few year old light for a slight discoloration on the reflector. FREE replacement, they paid shipping both way NO Questions were asked!!!!!!

Do you know what model you have or know the kelvin/color temperature of the light? Do they have any blue color to the light?
I have the 2x2 Dually spot in white...There is no model # on the box

I just want to point out some differences in Baja Designs and Rigid
Its fine that Rigid will replace your lenses, but you don't need to send Baja Designs lights back in to change lenses, or for that matter the type of light dispersion you want. You can literally change the lenses in minutes with their Uservice technology.http://www.bajadesigns.com/science-of-lighting/uservice-
That means you don't have to remove, or be without you lights until the lenses are replaced and shipped back to to .

If you decide to change them to amber, no problem you can get those lenses too. Change from spot to wide driving. Same thing.
Lumen for lumen , you get more usable light with the technology Baja Designs incorporates into their lights . Less light more coverage. 5000K light temp is really white. I hate lights that are too blue. http://www.bajadesigns.com/science-of-lighting/lighting-zones/zone-4x4-enthusiast Warranty is lifetime

Yes I am sponsored by Baja Designs, but, I have been using their lights for much longer than sponsored by them.

Curious as to the location you are looking to mount the lights. Are you putting anything in that bottom aluminum mount on that sweet popup?

Wings of the front bumper was the thought but now you have me thinking. Mounting floods around the top would be a great idea:idea:
