Cleaning up the shop this week and found this old relic. Also found a complete rear bumper with both ends on it. That's for another day.

Anyhow, it seems like a lot of 55s are missing their bumper ends, and I'd rather see it go to a MUD guy than deal with fees and auction sniper bs on Ebay so I figured I'd post here first.

Just the bumper end for sale for now. Don't really know what it's worth, but I know I shouldn't post it without a price, so I'm just gonna say $100 obo, shipping included, since I doubt that it's really worth that much. You can PM me with offers, but I'm gonna be away from the 'puter' so it's really best to just follow up by calling me at the shop.

Thanks

:)

Um... Hi Mark, yeah, the thing is, those rear bumper ends? They're like, THE first thing you take off your Pig...even before the air injection rail. Seems like any little thing that bumps into that bumper end, sends the sharp pointy end deep into the tender sheet metal in the rear flank of the Pig. I barely nudged a tree trunk with my stock bumper end on my first wheeling trip, and when I saw the damage that ensued, I removed both ends on trail.
Now, there was somebody looking for a pair of those, not long back. For a total restoration or some such thing...(yeah, that happens a lot), probably found them by now 'cause EVERYBODY has a set of these lying around...and just to rain on you parade a little more...I got a pair of those, IN BETTER CONDITION for half your price! So there...

Thanks for the heads up Greg. I never claimed to be a Pig expert.

I've put it on Ebay now; we'll see what happens.
