I have not seen any 80 series with the Rigd Ultraswing on them so here are a few pictures of my newly installed Ultraswing Mega fit. It is definitely solid. It looks really nice from the rear angles in my opinion but from the sides you can tell it sticks out a bit. I purchased it because I was not quite ready for a full bumper and I wanted to get my spare out of the truck and also liked the swing-out capability for my bike rack. I will swap this to my stock 100 series when I eventually move to a bumper.

Nice, makes me wonder though, could it be welded or bolted to the rear crossmember to help tuck it up and in

It does not move around at all. It has anti-wobble features built in that work very well. I can stand on it and bounce up and down and there is absolutely no movement. It feels very solid and has now been on my truck for over a year with no issues. Yes, departure angle is impacted but not in a way that negatively impacts me on any of the trails that I would frequent. Here is a picture of an 80 with the ultraswing welded in place.
