Thought y'all might be interested in a report from the Ride Across GA which happened March 17-20, 2011. We started at Burrells Ford on the Chattooga River at SC/GA state line and made our way west staying off pavement as much as possible.

A BIG thanks to Stuart Ivie who handled all the organization and planning for this trip.

A full write-up is available HERE.

Pretty cool, When things settle down I would love to do a trip like that. Dont get me wrong I love some good rock crawling but this definately looks like a good time. Plus as long as its off road I might be able to keep up.

Sounds great Scott. I hope you are doing well.

Yup, easy wheeling. Consider this more exploring and camping.

I do a bunch of impromptu trips over the spring/summer/fall. If you have a particular weekend you'd like to come up let me know and I'll see what I can work out.

:steer:

Would love to but...... the 40 is sitting at Davids house with the engine pulled , my back is still fubar, I have another surgery coming up in June, and Ive got a 2 year old and a 3 week old at the house. It might be next spring before I see any trails.:bang::bang::bang:

I guess one of my next mods to the 40 will have to be a back seat.:)

May be in for some mild camping/wheeling once the new truck gets done. Still have to decide how far to pull the trigger on the build :)

I'm guessing you of all people will overbuild... as you should :D
