Charles I need to look at some schematics. I think if you search a Jim chenoweth post he explains bypassing the voltage regulator.

I wish my car 40 was in the garage so I could just go look at it real quick. Thanks for the link above. I also found a thread in the 60 section about upgrading to an internally regulated alternator. Alternator altering I think I need to bypass the ammeter with the 3fe 80a alternator or risk burning it up, so for now I'll skip it.

@tornadoalleycruiser you ready to upgrade your dash to a Dakota Digital and sell me your @amaurer one?

Any other 3FE owners that can recommend an optimal fuel pressure setting?

43psi as regulated by the fuel pulsation dampner on the fuel rail
I check my pressure 2 ways, One fuel pressure gauge on the output of the fuel filter with a banjo bolt that has a pressure gauge on it. and at the fuel rail with this device
Fuel Pressure Bolt Kit 22RE Fuel rail
I have a spare Inline pump if you need. I am running an in tank pump from Tanks incorporated
I will have to do some digging to find my excel spreadsheet with my PN's on it.

I have an inline fuel pump now and a regulator on the firewall. One of the PO's removed the fuel pressure vsv. I have a post in the classifieds for one, but so far no luck. I'm not sure if I need that if I'm running the fuel pressure regulator. So, at least for now wanting to see if I can get away without it.
