I don't know about other people, but my truck has never been hand washed by me, only at the wand wash self service places. It's a beast of burden, not a show pony!

Do you get a shower after you work outside? So does my 100 ;)

My roof and hood was faded and dull, being single stage paint, the toyota white can't be buffed anymore so i just wrapped the entire truck in a matte white. Painted the trims a light gray for a cleaner look. What color is your truck now OP? I say just wrap it.

^THAT^ looks great!

Mine is Monstaline'd. It had a terrible white paint job when I bought it and started bubbling and peeling within the first year I owned it. I decided on the Monstaliner because of cost (~$300), it isn't gritty or rubbery like traditional bed liner, and it's as UV stable as paint, so it won't fade. It's basically a thick paint.

Washing it now consists of hitting it with a pressure washer, maybe soap and a brush if it's really dirty, and no drying since water spots aren't an issue.

Resale value wasn't a concern for me as I plan on owning this vehicle until it dies or I do, but compared to a fading peeling paint job, i think the Monstaliner is an upgrade, especially for an offroad vehicle.

I was very close to wrapping it, but the fact that I live in a dusty rural area, I take it offroad pretty often, and that my paint would continue to bubble/peel under the wrap and cause issues pushed me to the Monstaliner.

Looks Great! I think my next "street" car is getting a satin pearl white wrap.

I'm wrapping my street car the same color as my Land Cruiser, gonna have matching colored vehicles lol.

Just ordered SL63 bumpers so when that gets here, i'm wrapping the SL in Satin White pearl too. It's gonna look awesome! Should be a billion times easier to wrap the SL than the LC. The LC's rear 1/4 panel goes all the way to the front and that requires a 10ft piece of vinyl, i almost cried wrapping that section with my buddy.

Just the roof is not bad! Looks like you did seal the sunroof. Any shots were the lining transits the regular paint? Roof top does take a bearing from the weather, just like the hood..

Does anyone know roughly how much would be to just wrap the hood and roof? How long would it last? Is it cheaper than painting?
