I used Dulicolors Truck Bed liner.. I am pretty happy with it!! I also plan on adding a blue pinstripe for something else to do, and to attempt to hide the ridge left by the liner. I put 3 coats on, the last one being as thick as I could make it without it running on me.. Anyway just thought I would share!!

Very cool!

Can you post up some shots in directly sun light? thanks

I will post more pics tomorrow.. its my 4th anniv. today.. and I would like there to be more, so working, or anything to do with the truck wont happen tonight if I want other things to happen.. if you know what I mean!!

where is the Rhino?
looks OEM to me...! :)

Looks great!

Did you remove the "Four Wheel Drive" body molding before hit it with the liner? If so, would you be interested in selling it? I'd be interested in buying :D

That's right... although after the 7th or so Anniversary, you'll be working on your truck specifically for the same reason.

Can you post a c/u of the texture? I'm trying to screw-up the courage to do my truck, but I don't want it to look like a bondo-buggy when it's done. Yours looks great.

Curious, did you coat the steel under the flares, too, in case you ever break one off?

I removed it, and cracked one of them. I will be keeping them for now just in case I decide to cover them and reinstall!!

I will post some texture pics tomorrow too.. I never did under the flares.. I am only doing moderate wheeling with this rig, and am hoping with both fingers crossed that I don't break them.. it will probably happen sooner then I think though, and in that case I will re-apply at that point.

Texture pic as promised. sun pic to follow in about an hour or so!!

looks great,
Im trying to decide what color to apply to my LX. Hacve you considered painting the side and rear moulding to match the fenders? Anybody know how hard it is to remove that moulding on an LX?

I did that to my old 4Runner. Just be carefully walking around your rig with shorts. The liner stuff is like sandpaper on the skin :crybaby:

I removed my mouldings because I had a very small spot of rust right at the bottom of one of the mouldings. I may also cover them, but I might just put them back on too.. I havent decided yet.

Oh and yes the mouldings on the LX are a major pain in the a$$ to remove.. I had about 8 holes on each side to fill while the LX has closer to 50. check out the link.. shows a LX
