Opted to go w two lights vs light bar on front bumper. Gives me better vision on the shoulders. Can use the roof mounted light bar (spot pattern) as needed.

A few weeks ago, I removed the Rhino light bar that came w the bumper since there was not enough clearance to install the BD LPS 6’s on the bumper.

Used the BD wiring harness and connected to SwitchPros. Had to modify harness but kept the relay to avoid simultaneous low and high power at same time to lights. You need to use 2 SwitchPro switches if you want to control low and high beams independently. Works great!

Drilled 3 holes for each light bracket. Mounted nicely and solid. However, the lights extended in front of the bumper. The lights would be first to take an impact or someone in a large vehicle backing into it in a parking lot as examples.

Evaluated a few options and considered a trip to the machine shop.

Decided to take a scrap 80/20 cross bar and cut 2 - 3” sections for a riser. Put Rhino light bar mount back on and problem solved.

Also replaced the Black Oak light bar under warranty. Original had condensation. Good company.

Nice solution, and thank you for the detailed photos of the bumper! Quick question: did that trim seal come with the bumper, or did you have to source that locally?
