Reverse lights

About to install a Dobinson rear bumper on my 2008. It has extra reverse lights built into it. I was wondering where the easiest place is to tap into the reverse lights since the factory lights are in the hatch. TIA

I can't say the best way, since I haven't done one like this, but if you are looking for brainstormed ideas, the trailer plug harness has a reverse signal and is in that area.

I did tap the trailer lights. Put a distribution box in line, so I could pull all the lights if when necessary. Unfortunately there isn’t a 12v always on as part of the trailer set, all are switched to ignition.
so far have used the reverse and light on for reverse and license lights.
