Hi Team,

Does anyone have a diagram of how I can wire in a switch to allow the reverse cam to come on at any time? like the one below - 2016 LC200 Sahara.

I know Toyota make a kit but it looks like its only for the GXL HERE

Nifty. Looks like it may be head unit dependent.

This is one of the things i have been trying to figure out. I have yet to find a solution with the US spec head unit in my 2015 200. I would love to monitor my trailer while driving offroad.

Anyone did this?

IIRC if you search around you can find instructions on how to make the rear camera turn on. You basically trick the nav unit into thinking you're in reverse by triggering the gear shift switch to fool the system into thinking you shifted into reverse. A similar hack exists for those who want to be able to enter directions into the nav while driving - that tricks the system into thinking you're not moving.

I Installed a Blackvue Camera system (front and rear) that allows me to view my camera feeds on my iPhone while driving down the road. I have my phone mounted via a Ram Mount on the left side of the steering wheel. While there’s about a .5 second lag in the network feed, it suffices for most requirements to view my trailer or simply get a better view of what’s happening without having the tire blocking my rear view mirror. I know this isn’t the answer you’re looking for, but it’s a solution that’s worked for me.
