Should have also posted these pics. Was having an issue with premature ps pump failure. Suspected the headers as the culprit (but wanted to keep them). They fabbed up some excellent, better than stock heat shields

@rex in bama I think I have seen your rig up there before, but yes - @ACC Toyota does amazing work and wizadry. They desmogged my 81 (pic below post smog) after a long discussion with Dugan as I had just ordered a Sniper. He really explained to me that a properly setup and fresh carb will do wonders and can be easily adjusted or rebuilt vs. some of the well-documented Sniper issues (just a few rare ones here and there) where you cannot triage the insides of a sniper and sometimes requires to send back to Hollie....But I digress, I do like the Sniper setup.

As a side note - I dont have A/F headers, but added some heat loom to some of the fuel lines near the engine itself and helped tremendously for vapor lock.

Ill be up there again late Oct to get my timing cover gasket replaced as well as hunting down a Vintage Air issue. Thos guys are super helpful as well - even offered to lend me a tool or two if I wanted to repair at home. Just stellar.
