I have met these people and every year afterwards I question (for this is a questionable grouping) why I return. I am currently having that internal discussion with myself.

See you on Saturday.
If it help you any, it is looking like I won’t be able to make it😢

I'm in for Chocco de Mayo

See you Friday afternoon.

5pm ETA

Good times.
But we almost drowned!

I didn't get many pics.

Trail ride was good, some banging, slipping, minor stucking, FJ60 riding a log, but no real trail drama, just fun.

Afterwards were when things took a turn downward with "Alvin" @cruiserinsanity spending way too much time talking with @Hugh Heifer, verbally swapping parts and coming up plans that can only end in disaster.

Great hanging out, man. Thanks for posting the pics. Looks like you all had a great time. Getting up and rolling so early on Saturday, blew me out. Then had to get up 04:45 this morning to see my buddy out the door for the Marathon up in Cincy... lol.

I think I would rather put up with the deluge of rain.

Glad to see you made it home safe.

Thank you, brother. It was an adventure, and a lot of fun. But the early start. Whoa Nelly. Not my favorite.

Hater's gonna hate!
It for sure took a turn whe we began the turbocharged 1F with a supercharger ideas. At that point I was into my 20th Costco margarita.

Thanks everyone that made it and survived it! Certainly made for some memories. During the first storm, our ARB awning had a partial failure with one outrigger sustaining a bend. I was able to get it mostly back into shape that evening and massaged it even more once we got home.

The real hero was @Santasm for cooking up a bunch of fried chicken beforehand and doling it out Friday night, because setting up a cooktop wasn't going to happen in that monsoon.

We lucked out with a pretty gorgeous Saturday morning and afternoon. Trails were slick in spots but we all fared well, even the stock FJC that tagged along. He had step rails that got reshaped, but nothing major.

Taco night was a huge success and we finished up just in time for the second monsoon. Everybody was hanging onto the pop-up canopies we tied together and drinking Costco magaritas to pass the time. It blew over much quicker than the night before and we enjoyed the firepit the rest of the evening.

Our favorite server was at the WaHo Sunday morning. She's always a hoot.

Part of Friday night's storm. This was before I ran out to our awning/annex and stood on pelican cases to keep the roof from caving in.
