Has anyone done a retro decal on their 100 series?? Any pics? I was looking at some early 80's SR5 decal kits they have and was thinking they would look cool on a 100

Stickers add horsepower.

@Placemotorsports has:
Went a little retro today....

And then overseas they have some...interesting options:

Interesting 80s vibe. What color is your truck

Can they easily be removed a few years later when that particular retro look is no longer currently in fashion?

If so, go for it. If not, I recommend that you take a longer-term view towards a particular fashion that many - from that time - always viewed as ugly.

By analogy, in 2030, some will amazingly (and briefly) think that the front facade of a 2017 LX 570 is attractive!
:)

I think it depends on the wheels and lighting on the truck.
Old school wheels, and some yellow colored kc lights to finish out the look.
I/ve never had a problem taking decals off, as long as you take care of the paint on the vehicle.

Decals come off pretty easy as long as they are a quality piece in the first place. Just kind of tired of the soccer mom looks of the 100, I like the thing but the looks leave something to be desired. My last Land Cruiser was a 40 series so that could be part of my problem with the looks.

Best part about custom vinyl is you can take it off when you get tired of it
Your vinyl is what got me thinking of doing some old school graphics on my 100. I'm leaning to the 80's stripe kit for a SR5.

I'd be content with a "4700 EFI" decal for the rear quarter.
I’d be interested to see that 4700 EFI decal on a north American UZJ100
