restoring rear cup holders...

my 2000 LC had a dealer installed VCR that took the place of the rear cup holders. it doesnt work now and i pulled it out while installing usb ports for the rear passengers. theres now a gaping hole back there and I'd like to restore the rear cup holder assembly. I know I can buy the assembly from the dealer but not having seen another one I'm not sure if there is anything else i need. some stuff was removed when the VCR was installed and i can tell the plastic was trimmed a little around the opening. anyone have experience with this?

as an update, i found a mud member who sold me the cup holder assembly from a part out. it bolts or rather screws to the plastic. it was extremely simple to install. and now i have restored my cup holders!

i won't talk about the half a day i spent pulling the 1/4 mile of wire out from under the center console and behind the dash and trim pieces from the front to the back. i may talk about how they replaced my dome light with an lcd screen. i got a replacement dome light from the same mud member but now have to contend with a hole they cut in the head liner

got my dome light reinstalled. had to splice the wires in because they had cut off the connector when installing the lcd screen for the video system.

any suggestions on how to patch or otherwise cover-up this remaining hole?

also, is my dome light on backwards? should the switch be forward?
