Recently purchased the 2000 lc 100 pictured in my avatar. First time owner of a 100. I previously have had 3rd gen 4runners and have dealt with sagging and other suspension related issues. The lc I recently purchased is sitting on 20s( i think tundra wheels but idk). The front is noticeably higher than rear. I am not sure if it is just rear sag from it being an older vehicle or if the front has been adjusted higher purposefully. I do not care for the look and am interested in adjusting the rear so it is level. There are no additional accessories on the vehicle to add weight to the back. I have been looking at all the rear spring options and cannot see what spring number I need for the back lift required. The vehicle rides ok now and I have not noticed any bottoming out I just mainly want it level for how it looks. Any help is greatly appreciated

Measure from inside lip of fender to center of hub cap. You have to decide if you want springs for carrying additional weight and people or to ride softer when unloaded. Probably want OME 865 springs if you want a softer unloaded ride.

You probs just need to crank the torsion bars back down.

it's a 30mm bolt.

Check the measurements from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender and report back.

Thatll tell us what you need to do next.

Its 22.5” in front and 20” in rear. I am not sure but it looks like it may cause tire issues to lower the front as opposed to raising the back. The 20” wheels with 34s look to me like if the front comes down enough to level it might start scrubbing when turning hard. I am not sure about it though

22.5” front 20” back. I want a better ride but may have teenage daughter and friend back there sometimes.

yeahh they def cranked them torsion bars up.

I'd personally

Lose the 20" for some 18s (unless plenty of tread still) thatll help the ride.

Crank the 30mm bolt till you have a Front height of around 18-19"

That'll at least have you having a small reasonable rake again like it's supposed to.

From there like @GTV stated, if you want more rear lift consider adding a 30mm coil spacer. no harm otherwise though.

As stated above, depends on whether you want to lift it or not. 22.5 in the front is too high. If you have stock UCAs and stock-length shocks, you're going to want to be under or around 21". Or, as suggested, just drop the front back to 19 or so.

If you want it higher, you still need to drop the front some, but consider adding spacers or 865 OME springs to the rear.

Dont really have the funds to buy different wheels right now. It looks like if I bring it down another 1.5 to 2” in front the tires are going to rub when I turn. I did have brand new lower control arms in the rear when I bought it and this may be why the original owner had them. It doesnt have the best ride quality now but it does look good other than the rear sagging a bit. I dont really know what to do, but at the moment just trying to level it out as affordably as possible while waiting to move forward toward the most reasonable trade offs. Looks vs Ride quality. Dont plan on doing any off roading just mainly road driving and a few old dirt roads in the mountains.

What do you think is the best option? I like how it looks sitting up high. It would def look better more level but I am not sure how much I can bring the front down with these tires. Wont be offroad other than dirt roads around my property. There was new lower control arms included in the purchase and maybe this is why. I dont know if they are stock or not. The ride is not all that great currently but I am willing to lose a little comfort if it looks good. I guess I just am wanting to know from someone more familiar than myself as to what the best thing to do would be given my situation.

I meant upper control arms

You need to turn the torsion bars down. It’s free. It will improve ride quality. If the tires then rub you can address that issue separately.

I agree that you need to lower the front. To find out how much, jack up one side until the wheel is off the ground, then measure fender to center of hub. You want the front to sit around 2.5" less than that minimum. Then add some longer rear springs or spacers and have fun.
