Just had some work done on my truck (81)and the turbo timers not kicking in now. I'm sure the batteries were disconnected - any suggestions on re-setting the timer?

Thanks.

Press the power button?

What type of turbo timer is it? There's no mfg name - it came on the truck and was functional before going in the shop. Three position toggle switch (and can push in also)

Standalone?
Installed with car starter/alarm?

More information might be helpful. I'll see what else I can find out about it.l

What work was done?[/] Snorkel, Hitch and misc. electrical issues (folding mirror function, power windows etc..) The throttle advance was repaired which is where I'm curious if there's a connection, just haven't had any time to investigate yet.

I'll get it sorted, just curious if theres anything common/obvious to check.quote

ULTRA TURBO TIMER UNIT # 4759

There aren't any dials or switches on the unit - I'll trace the power supply back and up to the switch. The shop says they don't usually touch them but sometimes will turn them off if running the truck for a while.

PROBLEM SOLVED: There was a second contoller box stuffed into the kick panel which I hadn't found - resets to zero when the power is cut. Can adjust from 30 sec. to 5 minutes now.
