Reset rear AC controls? (1 Viewer)

My rear AC controls appear to be stuck on the highest temperature setting, and the temperature controls don't appear to work. The on/off button works but not the temperature control. I've tried unplugging the battery and giving ample time for everything to reset, removing the rear AC controls and checking for any reason it may be stuck and I've got nothing. Has anyone else had the same issue?

Hey thanks for replying, it runs just fine but the temperature setting for rear is broken, like it's stuck on the maximum temperature (it's still AC of course) and can't be reduced. No matter what I do I can't bring the temperature down via the controls, auto or not. I probably should have done this the first time but I'll attach a pic

I took the assembly apart and looked at the board and didn't see any reason why it would be stuck or jammed, but cleaned it anyway- the button functions fine from what I can tell. I may just take it apart again and see if I can make contact with the board itself to see if lowers the temp.

Were you able to resolve this? Mine is doing the exact same thing now. It blows cool-ish air, but being stuck on the warmest setting it's not blowing its usual cold in the rear.

Hey, not yet. I couldn't find the issue and had other more pressing things to work on in the mean time. But I haven't forgotten about this thread and once I find a proper fix I'll update here.

Finally back in the states and updating this just to document the solution. I ended up just getting a new AC control panel on Ebay for $40 and it works just fine now. Looks like sometimes these things just go bad.

For anyone that has the same problem you can just look up this part on Ebay: Lexus GX470 Rear A/C Climate Control Panel 55900-60811 2003-2009
