I have a stubborn "Requ Maint" warning light that I can't get to turn off. I cancelled all the scheduled maintenance on the Navigation System and tried things suggested on this forum -- disconnecting the battery, hitting reset on the trip odometer and starting the car 2 times. STILL HAVE THE LIGHT!!

My lovely wife refuses to drive the car with the light on. HELP!!

Have you read the codes? If you don't have a reader, go to an auto parts store and have them plug their code reader in. That might tell you what is the source of the problem.

Fixed it! I put the odometer on total miles instead of trip. Turned the car on while holding the odometer reset down for 3 seconds and voila!

And that, dear friends, is how you close out a post when the problem is solved.
Instead of just saying something along the lines of "Nevermind, I fixed it", or even worse, just disappearing without saying ANYTHING, actually give the solution so that others with the same, or similar problems can learn from your experience.

Thank you for your support.
