Reproduction cab vents to replace the original plastic that have been discountinued and are no longer available from Toyota. This are machined from billet 6061 grade billet aluminum. $120.00 per pair.

Those cabs that were fitted with these original had a plastic baffle/snorkel. These were actually called cab decompression vents, allowing the cab to breath(not there isn't enough air leaks anyways). Some have bought them and fitted them on there cabs as replacements and/or as dummies. Does your 60 series have them? If so, these replace the plastic as they are usually cracked and/broken.

What year 40 did the vents come on?

Not sure exactly. They were on my 83 BJ42, but were plastic and broken. They were discountinued by Toyota, so these were produced to replace them.

And these are the D-Pillar decompression vents. They cover a plastic sleeve and rubber flap.
