So I've been regaling my wife and friends with anecdotes from the trip, and what with the John this and John that, she's like, could you differentiate them a little. So I say sure, I'll just go with John S.

A nanosecond later it hits me: Sourbeer, Smith and Stumbaugh! WTF? How does this happen?

Guess I could just refer to y'all by last names, but if your fellow clubbies have a better idea.....POST UP.!!!!!!

Sourbeer is already in the running for "The Shark.";p

I'd offer that my name is spelled J-O-N, but I don't think that helps your dilemna. Stumbaugh and I are often called by our last names though.

it usually depends on the context...

If someone said you went wheeling with John and Jon, I would guess it was Sourbeer and Smith, because I've only talked to Stumbaugh on the phone and on-line - never at a wheeling event :grinpimp:

...so poser John would be appropriate!

PJ for short!

it's all in good ribbing. I guarantee that some of the welds on my truck I wouldn't pass if I was reviewing them in the field for a structural weld :grinpimp:

It really sucks that you got turned away years ago by the TLCA and I think that they have since realized that the narrow minded focus has really hurt them, as has the name.

After attending other big events, I do like the small get togethers. Nothing beats wheeling an area with three trucks to knock it out. It isn't as fun when wheeling with a group of 12 that stop for every mud puddle.

Come on down to Harrisonburg sometime for a little camping, some easy trail rides, and some bs'ing....

he's been wheelin in more construction sites than a heavy equip operator. :D on mopeds too no less...

Take a chill pill Brother John! This was supposed to be a fun CLCC chat thread, just something to pass the time with my new friends.

Now if it happens to gently nudge you back towards the camaraderie of building expedition-worthy trucks, sharing beers by a campfire, testing your skilz in an under-built rig and expanding your circle of friends, then I'll keep nudging. That's what friends do.:)
