I know this has been discussed before but i need to replace a wheelstud and so when i have everything torn down i am just going to replace all of them. I also understand that since i have everything torn down it is suggested to go ahead and rebuild the front knuckle. Now what all do i need in order to do that? Is this something a newbie first time rebuilder can do with the proper tools?

thanks

It is not too complicated of a job just very messing and takes a lot of time. You need a torque wrench and a good manual with torque specs. A big hammer goes a long way.I would replace your rotors too with the wheel studs. I bought a 3lb? hammer & driving spike with saftey handle around end from home depot that made the job easier. Also i would recommed to always wearing safety glasses when using a hammer like this. I replaced everything with the brakes on the front axle, wheel bearings, kuckle bearings, oil seal on axle, & gaskets. I bought a whole kit from cool cruiser that comes with Koyo bearings and everything you need for like $120. Let me know if you have any more questions. I just rebuilt my whole front axle a few months ago. I am in the bay area.
