I have been searching mud and the net, found some info but nothing current. What is everyone using for new leathers? I could only find 2 companies that make them. I have a 99 with tan leather. Hoping to do the first 2 rows.

LSeat.com looks to have decent kits. Or you could try an interior shop, I'd expect to pay about $500-600 a row installed.

From what I've seen, Lseat is the most popular choice if you can deal with less than perfect customer service. All I know is that I ordered color samples from their website and had them in less than a week. Don't have any first hand experience with the actual seats. I will be ordering a front row set from them in the next year or so. I'll have an upholstery shop install them.

I have had Leather in most of my cars over the years and have always had dogs in and out of them with no more than some scratches. within 2 weeks my Lseat covers were ripped. Fronts only and it was the passenger side. I am fairly sure a dog nail went through it.

I know there are alot of fans here but I will avoid them. For now I have wet okle covers over them now.

Thanks for that, I was going to get lseat skins soon but I have a big dog that regular leaps into the front (she refuses to jump into the back seat for some reason). If any dog claw can puncture their leather, I'm sure my dog's claws will too. Do the Okole covers stay put pretty well?

I live in northern vt, so no shops around my location. What color matched tan from your samples? Landcruiserheaven has some as well.

I was looking at that option myself, did you have them work on your LX?

no just hear high ratings all over net and using material close to oem, and mentioned it as option.

this is option I'm aiming for, just have to save up as its 1299 installed for 2 rows, and have better things to do then worry about seats.

I have 2 bad seats in lx, driver (tears where place your behind )and one 2nd row seat (small cracks all over).

if i add a seat cover for the seat portion only it solves my problems, so its hard jutifying it currently.

They do stay put and are a super tight fit. I have had them in several cars and always enjoyed them. Not everyone likes them and they are kind of expensive

I put LSeat covers on the front. For the money, you can't go wrong.

For what it's worth, I've just recently installed Roadwire leather seat skins through Costco but on our Chevy Bolt EV. The leather is OEM if not better than Chevy OEM quality. Roadwire appears to install OEM or better when possible. Like anything, it all comes down to the installer so do research on that front.

I'll 2nd the Roadwire. I priced out a full kit around 1400 with armrests/console, etc. I have seen a few of the kits, and they look as good as any factory seat cover I've seen.

Does anyone know if Roadwire will do front seats only? also i don't see any kits listed for late model cruisers 06-07 anyone have insight?

I’ve been in touch with Trinity Leather - the local Roadwire installer in Dallas but they’ve been super flakey. I’ve asked for quotes for front and middle rows. I’ve been told they can do them (without the third row). I hope they change my mind about their customer service soon.
