I've just finished the complete knuckle overall on my 93 FZJ80. Well, it took a few weeks, i wasn't able to work on the truck and only finished everything besides gear oil.
It's easy to drain it. As far as I can see, there is not a lot of room to position the plastic bottle.
Any tips, suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Alex

flexible platic funnel, about $5

there is also the drill pump and the big syringe. you could use the big syringe to squirt solvent in there to get rid of the old oil too...
and a funnel with a piece of garden hose
etc

Sit the container out in the sun for awhile before you intend to use it. The stuff flows better when it's warmed up.

some said a long hose up through the engine compartment with a funnel on the end works great. You gotta watch you don't overflow though!!!

Im making an oil pig like Slee and Robbie did so I can use compresed air.

you can do a search for it but it might be overkill for you

Don't be pumping solvent into a diff case like that. Not a good idea unless you're in the process of tearing it down.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Today I've found a hand pump for $3.69 in autoparts store.

I use an old water style fire extinguisher. Fill half full with gear lube, pump up to 30 psi, insert tip into diff fill hole, squeeze trigger. Takes way less than a minute to fill and cost me less than $10.
