I want to replace my fuel hose in the engine compartment, either side of the fuel filter, and from fuel pump to fuel line, and return line from fuel pump to firewall. Also some of the hose on the charcoal canister. Call me crazy but I really like the gator skin look of the outer fuel hose. Thinking about this 5/16" from Amazon. Will this work? I'm guessing I'll need around 10 ft. I should be able to remove the foam covers from the existing hose and place it on the new.

I used toyota fuel hose part # 9533306100 for the return line on a fuel injected FJ62. It's probably the size of your supply for carb'd fj60? I also believe the last three digits 100 = length in centimeters but maybe someone will confirm? Damn, Im just full of partial internet information tonight

pricey...100 cm is 39.37 inches at $34 from a local dealer.

The toyota fuel line # 06100 is 06mm dia. x 100mm long. The 2F fuel feed & return are 8mm dia.

FWIW, the J30R14 hose is only rated for 50 PSI. The J30R9 standard is far stronger with a working pressure (not burst pressure) of 225PSI. If shopping at FLAPS, it is still possible to get old stock of J30R7, which is an obsolete standard that is not hardened against higher levels of alcohol and BioD. You don't want to buy that.
