Thinking about building a trailer and found this site last night, www.jeepanelsplus.com they sell Military Trailer replacement panels. Has anybody purchase anything from them? I plan on calling them tomorrow for more info as they could be a great resource for a scratch build.

The person you'll be talking to is Sheldon. I haven't actually purchased anything from him, but have visited his shop once (only live 1 hr away from him) During my initial search for a 1/4 ton a few years ago I contacted him and he graciously helped me try to find something. He was a great resource for me.
As for actual product quality I haven't heard anything bad about his stuff. Do a search over on g503.com and others will say the same.

Other sources are available that sell repro items from MD Juan in the Phillipines.

Panels

I spoke to Sheldon, he makes all the panels.Pricing is on his web page. He's into the whole vintage Military reproductions of trailers panels . Shipping could push the price in the $700.00 range. He will be at the Aberdeen military show this summer in Maryland and could bring panels to save shipping.

Yes, he had old J**p parts, and every quarter ton part you could think of in some shape or form lying around. He offers a great service to the resto crowd.
For $700 you might as well find an old 1/4 ton lying around or even consider an M101CDN for abit more...???

Panels

I was thinking the same thing. I'm currently talking to a shop to fab a trailer frame complete with independent suspension. Has anybody converted a military trailer to this setup. What"s a good source for adjustable shocks or airbags that can be installed? Any thoughts good or bad on this idea?
