So after a pretty thorough search, I could not find this covered. After having the common "crank but no start" issue, I found the O2 sensor wiring damaged. (Ziptied to rear heater lines):bang::mad:
My question is, the damaged wire is the blue shielded one. Is there a special way to repair this? or can i just cut, splice, and heat shrink? I wasn't sure if the shielding was more than just that.

Yes, you can cut, splice, and heat shrink. Nothing special. Just make sure to use wire that is the same gauge.

Thank you! I figured as much, but just wanted to be sure.
