It's at Canyon Lands Jeep Adventures!

Also check out the Moab Adventure Center! Located in the same building.

This trip we relaxed and messed around Hells Revenge, Amasa Back, Kane Creek, Flat Iron Mesa...Oh..and Poison Spider....only had the FJC for one of the days...

Never been durning the Easter Jeep Safari before...there wasn't as many trucks as I thought there would be...just enough...We went with the group two of the days...then went off on our own..heading to Poison Spider @ night the first night...as always...ha!...First time with the GPS....that was very helpful...he he.

Wow, that's cool! I can't believe they can afford to rent them out, I can't imagine how hard people would be on a rental offroad rig...

Yeah, do they have any rules.... Do they sell that insurance on it? I'm pretty currious about this now. Why risk flopping mine when I can bust up a rental :grinpimp:

You can either use your insurance or they have some package you can buy...
They sure do have a list of rules...most trails you can't take the FJC on...they recomend a Heep for instead...the rental jeeps in town are better built..however the owner of this store said they have more plans for the FJC..we'll see what it looks like next year!

In short, if I owned an FJC I would have never rented one..but it was a neat option...what a cool truck...could use a lift on the seat though...and the plastic bumpers need to be tossed...other than that It drove up anything!

Your FJC looks pretty built...I'd go have fun in it!..don't worry about to much about dents and scratches:cheers:

Man thats good news, glad you enjoyed the FJ ride! By chance do you know what trails they said you couldn't take it on? I still cant believe they let newbies drive jeeps up hells gate! This one almost bit the big one:lol: right after I just about flipped after my rear tire slipped on my line. NOte 2 tires on ground only

Here is me goofing up bigtime LOL! The rental jeepers watched me do this and still decided to go for it. I had one tire on the ground at the climax YIKES!

Wow...that is intense there...any body damage?

I have the list of trails on the disclaimer they absolutely don't want you on...Hells is one of them..Can't find the list now but it's pretty much anything with the difficult level of Hells Revenge and harder...even Kan Creek is on the banned list...Had a great time anyway staying on the Appropriate trails...:D

Here is a pic of me taking my 40 down into Hells Gate...no pics of the other side...a bit short for that one I thought:rolleyes:

NO body damage at all..I looked in my side view mirror to read OBJECTS In mirror are closer than they appear.. FAWK I figured I lost the whole rear quarter panel..but not a thing...1 month later I realized the plastic fender flares has some sand paper scratches them LOL! That was it...I cant believe they wont let people go on the revenge the FJC eats it up like nothing. We had 6 rigs in front of me crawl up the gate like nothing also..I just failed miserably hahahahah!

Awesome pic of the 40 bro! Nothing like going up the gate and staring at the sky!

Yeah you got that right...mine looked more like that green Heep you posted going up...it's too short for sure...but still made it!

I can't belive you didn't bang anything up besides a few sctatches from that!...how did you get out of it?

I guess you didn't check out the youtube video:lol: Posted up above ^^^^ sowing machine leg and manual transmission with winching was terrifying! 2 rigs anchored to eachother and lots of tow straps...FLIPPING DANGEROUS I'm glad no one was hurt...well expect my ego and the indent from my ass sucking up the seat cushion:lol: I got out and my girlfriend ran up to me for a kiss and hug ...instead I hit the ground and started kissing the red rocks EVERYONE was laughing and hugging me since I was safe! COvered in sweat from head to toe..even the trail team folks were scared s***less which didn't help at all. It took quite some time to get over the whole experience...man I have never been so terrified in my entire life. LIFE LESSON for sure!

Well we have been moved...sory for the troubles forum...this is more fitting...

I didn't watch the youtube!...I'll watch it now...that is amazing!
I think with the right line the way you went up is best...one year I got scared and turned around and went up the enterance...did about the same thing as you...except I had three wheels on the ground..

Yeah looking at it from above is one thing...being down below it is another LOL! The worst was my buddy walking up to me after everyone went up while I waited at the bottom "dont fail us now we all made it" equates to FAIL big time:lol: What did you do with the winch?
