Hi All, I'm swapping my grill on my 200 Series, but I'm struggling on the final step of removing the toyota logo from the old grill.

The clips all are easy but it appears to be stuck on perhaps crimped on where circled? Anyone familiar with remove of these?

Those are a pain to remove and not damage the plastic. Easy on very hard off.
I ended up using needle pliers and small hose removal hooks to bend each of the fingers backwards. Using a Dremel it's not possible cause it is heating the metal too much and melting the plastic.
There might be a tool to make it easier but I do not know of one.

That's what I was afraid of, thanks for the insight!

i've not done it but perhaps threading a narrow gauge wire (like thin picture hanging wire) under the 'petals' through the gaps and gently pull to spread them enough to clear the peg lip. maybe could do three at a time unless you have an extra set of hands.

Maybe try one of those tiny precision flat head screwdrivers to pry them away one by one?

My go-to here would be the multi-bend version of an o-ring pick. Jeweler’s screwdriver might work but would need to be a really strong example.. I could see the tabs here bending or breaking cheap versions.
