Removing the fog light chrome trim to black out? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I can't find any clear instructions on how to remove the fog light Chrome trim so i can paint it black.

Can anyone shed some light how one would do this? The vehicle is 2016 LC200.

You need to get at the back side. The easiest way is to remove the bumper skin and have good access. You might be able to remove lower trim plastics and poke your arm up through the resulting hole to remove the 3x screws (10mm/Large cross head) and unplug the harness to the bulbs. Doing it from the underside is an exercise in frustration, but it can be done. I'd highly recommend removing the bumper plastic and accessing it the easy way.

I just did this by pulling off the front wheels and going in from the wheel well. Honestly pretty easy. You have to remove the fog lights first and then you can remove the trim itself.
