Hey folks, need to figure out how to remove the triangle vent windows on the troopy. Ive unscrewed the swivel, but it wont lift out, feels like i am bending something in the door when i try. I need to so some rust remediation and get some chain lube in there for free swiveling. Anyone have experience with this?

Just did this very thing to replace the weather stripping for that little window. It's not hard just time consuming. You have to remove that frame to get to the bottom of the swivel. The swivel is fastened down with a spring that is held in place by a nut. To get to this you have to remove the frame. There are 3 little sheet metal screws under the door weather stripping, you have to remove the inside door panel to get to the one bottom bolt. Then I had to remove the weather stripping that is at the bottom of the window, remove the weather stripping inside the window channel then you can pull up and back on the frame to remove from the door. You will need to tilt it inward as you get the bottom part to the top to clear the piece that the bottom bolt is attached to. Have fun :-)
