Just been replacing my rear door glass runs in between hail showers. Left one was fine. However, the right rear window had separated from its channel attachment already so i set about removing the glass to re-attach the rear channel. The FSM has the division bar for the rear quarter window glass having two bolts and a screw at the top. No issues with the bolts but in the FSM, the screw at the top is drawn as facing forwards but on mine the top screw seems to be under the rear quarter glass weather strip and i can't work out how to get to it to remove the division bar

Has anybody had this issue and how did you overcome it?
I can't see how I can get the window glass out without removing this bar.

Yeah, I just replaced the channel and weather striping on my PS. Yes, the screw you are talking about is under the weather striping. I think you might be able to remove the glass if you only take on of the screws out. you need to be able to widen the frame enough for the glass to come out. I cut a small slit in the seal to access the screw. That's the fun part, getting it all back together. .

Found it. For some reason i mistook the FSM picture to mean the screw was in the inner channel when in fact it is on the top of the door under the weather striping. Thanks Cruiser804

Mopoke; do you have any photos you could post up of the process??

Actually I put it back together as the English liquid sunshine stopped progress. When I pull it apart I'll take pictures of the process. In the meantime, this is the offending screw under the weatherstrip. It is a soft metal head so is very easy to strip. Everybody I have talked to has recommended using an impact driver to remove this screw and this is what I'll do when I remove the glass.
The photo is a reconstruction using actors with dodgy cameras - my truck is white ;)
