That looks super. Did you remove that surround from the tailgate or mask in place?

i masked around it all, and then just xacto'd around to make sure it wouldnt peel off when removing the excess.

Thanks for the link. I am doing this tomorrow, or Weds...or Thurs....or...
it took about three hours to do the back of the LX. I had to do the top trim piece first, finish that up and then attack the bottom. So, if you did it all at once it'd take about two hours, since I overlapped some of the work time.
How are you guys sticking the badges back on ? Do you guys think silicone would be any good?

No, many use 3M double-sided adhesive tape made for this type of application.

But, if you go the PlastiDip route, you don't have to take the emblems off to begin with.
