Removing main jets

Is the SST [09860-11011] necessary for removing the main jets during a carb rebuild? I was thinking about grinding down a screwdriver. Thoughts?

Yeah, just grind down the screwdriver. Works fine.

I ordered that SST (although it came in a plastic case labeled 09860-11013). It's a L-handle driver set with two nut drivers and four screw-driver type attachment. I've rebuilt the carb before without using this kit. For the main jets I just used the biggest screwdriver that would fit through the access holes. The jets will probably be stuck, so hold the screw driver tight against the slot so you don't scratch or strip the slot.
