has anyone does this before? I tried to pop out a rather large ruh roh but the isn't enough space behind it to get it to pop. I'm thinking about removing the fender but not sure how involved or difficult that would be.

The sheet metal is creased and stretched. I have had body shops look at both and tell me they are not repairable. Yours is worse than mine. I am sure you could fix some, but it will always be rippled. I would touch up any bare metal and leave it. As you accumulate dents get get easier to deal with :grinpimp:

It's unfortunate, but that fender cannot be repaired back to its original shape.

thanks for chiming in, that's pretty much what I figured...

the moral of this story is when you are the only 100 series and only one running AT's you need to be more cautious... especially when the trail leader is in a tube buggy

I've used a stump of radiator hose on the hooked end of the crowbar to get up behind and pull out a similar yet smaller tree foul. Every dent makes the next one look smaller and easier to hide, I'm more concerned about related corrosion than anything.
