How do you remove the fascia trim over the radio/AC controls etc.. I was watching the radio tech guy remove it and he had a tool that pryed the very top off and the rest just came off i.e. as if there was a release at the top.

Looking to take that off so I can peek behind the radio to see what is what with the wiring.

Thx

Yeah, just 6 or 8 little snaps to hold it in place. Use the screwdriver to pull the snaps out of place, but be careful not to poke or tear the actual dash. I started at the bottom left of the panel, so that if I did hurt the dash it would be less noticable. Comes out very easily once you have one of the corners undone. Once you have it off, there should be 4 screws that hold the radio in.

Thx guys.

That matches what I saw

The Repair manual shows, start prying (between the dash and the center console piece) at 9 (right below the vent), then 3 (right below the vent), then 11, then 1. I had it off in about a minute. Tape the top of a thinnest flat head screw driver you have.
