removing black hose/tube on front locker? (1 Viewer)

I've got my front dif on the floor under the truck and have disconected the two electrical clips, but there is a black tube or something going into the same location and I can't find a disconect for it. How do I remove it from the dif? Take off the locker mechanism?

Sorry for the post on the black tube. I went back out and investigated further. Breather or something? Worked it with a screw driver for a few minutes and it cane off. On there pretty good after 240K. Return to your previously programed cruiser related reading.

As you have discovered, there is a small tube that serves as a breather for the diff lock mechanism. There is a large black axle breather hose on the axle tube to the left side of the pumpkin.
