Remove TB to clean it properly?

any reason to pull the unit to get the backside? Any good videos to use as an example?

I havent done a UZ, but did on my 1FZ. I pulled mine to get the back.

In general we're only concerned with the TB mouth and butterfly. Good idea to clean the MAF Sensors with a can of spray cleaner & check PCV, hose & grommet at same time. Also disconnect the battery for 30 minutes while doing all this, to reset computer(s).

Coo. Removing it would be difficult. There are a lot of parts to get it completely off. To get the backside, just push open the butterfly? Use a toothbrush? Do I spray directly at it? To, just spray on a cloth or brush? I got both MAF and TB cleaner, I plan on doing both.

Spray away, direct or on brush. I find a copper gun barrel bore cleaning brush works well for the tuff stuff.
